Somewhere beyond the edge of the ordinary woodland lies Faefern Forest, where the Mushwoods live among ancient trees, forgotten paths, tiny doors and curious little happenings.
Letters from Faefern Forest is a monthly journey into that world - part story, part creative ritual, part collection of little things to keep.
Each month, a new piece of Faefern Forest arrives for you to read, explore, create with and tuck away in your own little corner of the world.
There may be a letter from one of the Mushwoods, a glimpse into something happening deep in the forest, or simply a quiet moment from life among the trees.
There isn’t a new character every month. Sometimes you’ll hear from a particular Mushwood, sometimes the story will belong to Faefern Forest itself, and sometimes we’ll wander a little further into the wider world of the Foresters and the things that happen around them.
You never quite know who - or what - might find its way into your mail.

The very first Mushwood Mail has arrived…
September takes us into Faefern Forest at the turning of the season, with leaves beginning to gather beneath the trees and little signs of autumn appearing along the woodland paths.
