The very first Mushwood Mail has arrived…
September takes us into Faefern Forest at the turning of the season, with leaves beginning to gather beneath the trees and little signs of autumn appearing along the woodland paths.
This month’s collection includes:

The two collector’s artworks are Day 194 and Day 212 from the 365 Daily Art Challenge, bringing two little glimpses of the paths and hidden places of Faefern Forest into your own home.

A little piece of woodland magic, delivered through your letterbox.
Somewhere beyond the edge of the ordinary woodland lies Faefern Forest, where the Mushwoods live among ancient trees, forgotten paths, tiny doors and curious little happenings.
Letters from Faefern Forest is a monthly journey into that world - part story, part creative ritual, part collection of little things to keep.
Each month, a new piece of Faefern Forest arrives for you to read, explore, create with and tuck away in your own little corner of the world.
There may be a letter from one of the Mushwoods, a glimpse into something happening deep in the forest, or simply a quiet moment from life among the trees.
There isn’t a new character every month. Sometimes you’ll hear from a particular Mushwood, sometimes the story will belong to Faefern Forest itself, and sometimes we’ll wander a little further into the wider world of the Foresters and the things that happen around them.
You never quite know who - or what - might find its way into your mail.

A gentle creative activity designed to encourage you to slow down, notice something ordinary in a different way, and make something of your own.
🔎 A Woodland Wonder
A little piece of nature, folklore, observation or woodland knowledge to discover.
🍃 Curated woodland ephemera (Postal Club Only)
A little collection of woodland-inspired things to tuck into a scrapbook, sketchbook, journal or wherever you keep your favourite bits of paper.
The ephemera will change from month to month and may include stickers, little paper pieces, botanical finds or other curious things chosen to fit that month’s woodland theme.
✨ And sometimes… something unexpected
From time to time, the Mushwoods may sneak something special into your mail — a seasonal activity, a little extra piece of mail, or something else they’ve decided you might like.
You won’t always know what it is before it arrives.
That’s rather the point.

📅 When will my Mushwood Mail arrive?
Mushwood Mail is prepared and sent during the first half of each month, so your collection arrives when there is still plenty of the month left to enjoy it.
If you subscribe on or before the 15th of the month, your first physical collection will be that month's Mushwood Mail.
For example: if you join by 15th September, your first collection will be the September edition. If you join after 15th September, your first collection will be the October edition.
This gives the little forest post office enough time to hand-curate and prepare each month's mail without rushing the woodland post. 🐌📮💌

Some surprises may be tiny.
