Today’s painting is inspired by a grand old oak, just starting to burst into leaf — its bright lime-green foliage glowing with the energy of early spring.
A golden sunburst peeks through its branches, casting dappled shadows on the cool grass below. It’s the kind of peaceful spot that feels like a secret — tucked away deep in the village, perfect for curling up with a book or sketchpad, hidden from the world.
