Day 51 of 365
Daily Art Challenge - Day 51 of 365 - 20th April 2025
Golden gorse and Highland skies
Before leaving the Highlands, I had to capture anast iconic sight—the hills absolutely ablaze with golden yellow gorse!
These cheerful, coconut-scented blooms were glowing under a brilliant blue sky, with fluffy white clouds parting just in time for a dazzling sunburst to light up the landscape.
The fresh spring grass, the rich yellow petals, the scent in the breeze—it all came together to create a moment too magical not to paint.
Do you know the smell of gorse? If not, imagine sunshine and coconut had a baby.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
Thank you so much for your interest in my art, I hope you love it as much as I love creating it.
