Daily Art Challenge - Day 127 of 365 - 5th July 2025
After yesterday’s cosy Hobbit house, I received a lovely request to try my hand at painting Rivendell—and I couldn’t resist.
So today’s mini is inspired by that magical Elven sanctuary from The Lord of the Rings. Think stormy skies, distant snow-capped mountains, and nestled in the cliffs: the glowing white city of Rivendell, elegant and full of light. A waterfall tumbles below, catching the light, and a delicate stone bridge arches over the river that winds through the valley.
It felt like a big scene to fit into such a small canvas—but I loved every minute of bringing this legendary place to life.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
