Daily Art Challenge - Day 130 of 365 - 8th July 2025
Today’s mini was inspired by a beautiful photo sent to me a few weeks ago by Neil — a special birthday request!
Neil loves lighthouses and stormy skies, and his original photo had such atmosphere, I knew I had to paint it. I decided to save it for his actual birthday and paint it today, as a little creative tribute.
The scene is full of drama: a stormy sky rolling in above a steadfast lighthouse, standing tall and calm in the chaos.
I hope I’ve done the image justice — it was an honour to paint.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
