Daily Art Challenge - Day 140 of 365 - 18th July 2025
It’s Day 5 of Rainbow Week and today the colour is blue—deep, mysterious, magical blue.
I painted a misty dark blue fantasy forest, where shadows stretch long and the air feels cool and still. In the distance, there’s a soft pale blue glow, like moonlight trying to break through the trees. At the front of the scene, a giant glowing blue mushroom stands tall, casting an eerie blue light on the grass beneath it—like something straight from a dream.
This whole series is unlocking so many ideas that have been waiting quietly in my imagination, and I’m loving the chance to play with colour and mood in new ways.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
