Daily Art Challenge - Day 141 of 365 - 19th July 2025
It’s my Birthday today—and what better colour to land on than Purple in Rainbow Week!
To celebrate, I painted a fantasy forest full of dreamy, magical energy. A pale yellow background sets the glow, with rich purple trees stretching upward, and white, star-like lights scattered throughout like birthday confetti. Along the riverbed and even climbing the trees, pale purple mushrooms shimmer, adding to the enchantment.
Dancing among the sparkles are tiny fairies or butterflies, giving this piece a real party feel—a little celebration in paint!
While I’m happy with how it turned out, there are definitely things I’d tweak next time… but that’s the joy of a daily practice—it’s all part of the journey.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
