Daily Art Challenge - Day 151 of 365 - 29th July 2025
Today, a lovely art friend shared a photo of a sunflower — and it instantly reminded me of one I grew a few years ago. I went searching through my old pictures and found it… tall, golden, a little wonky, full of charm.
So that’s what I painted today.
It’s been a while since I made a piece that I’d change quite a few things about — and this is definitely one of them. But that’s part of the process, and part of the challenge: showing up, learning, growing, and not being afraid to try again. I think I’ll revisit this theme later in the week and explore more sunflowers — maybe looser, maybe bigger, definitely brighter.
