Daily Art Challenge - Day 152 of 365 - 30th July 2025
Today’s inspiration is a little different… and a little extra — in the best possible way!
The prompt? Just two colours: Blue and Pink. But instead of dots or accents, I split the canvas right down the middle — one half bathed in dreamy blue, the other in vibrant pink.
Why? Because my daughter Molly and I have been absolutely obsessed with watching Ayla Jalyn, the wonderfully “Extra” stay-at-home mum and creative whirlwind we discovered on socials. Her iconic blue-and-pink hair was the spark — and I ran with it!
I imagined a fantasy fairy forest, split into two enchanted realms:
A glowing blue side, cool and calm with floating orbs and misty trees
A playful pink side, bursting with magical mushrooms and hidden fairy homes
There's even a tiny fairy house tucked inside one of the pink tree trunks if you look closely…
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
