Daily Art Challenge - Day 154 of 365 - 1st August 2025
Today’s painting was sparked by a fun (and slightly wild!) request from one of my YouTube subscribers —
“Could you paint a frog wearing a toadstool hat?”
Well… challenge accepted.
So here he is — a bright green frog sitting at the edge of a misty blue forest, resting in a cool, reflective pool scattered with fallen green leaves.
And perched perfectly on his head?
A red toadstool cap, dappled with white spots, like he wandered out of a fairytale.
Definitely outside my usual comfort zone…
but that’s part of what makes this daily challenge so magical.
You never know what whimsical creature will appear next.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
