Daily Art Challenge - Day 156 of 365 - 3rd August 2025
A while back, a lovely follower over on TikTok suggested I paint a rainbow in a lake —
It took me a little time to imagine how to bring that idea to life…
but today, it all came together.
I painted a cloud-filled sky above soft purple mountains, and below them, a deep blue lake.
Stretching across the sky, a vivid rainbow glows against the soft white clouds —
its colours reflected in the clear water below, shimmering in ripples of pink, gold, blue and green.
There’s something so peaceful about painting scenes like this…
a mix of sky, colour, and calm.
