Daily Art Challenge - Day 157 of 365 - 4th August 2025
A soft and simple prompt arrived from a kind follower on Instagram…
“Can you paint a place with cherry blossom trees in the daytime, with petals falling to the ground?”
So today, I imagined a dreamy path —
lined on both sides with tall sakura trees in full bloom.
The sky is bright blue, the fields a soft spring green…
and the wind is just gentle enough to stir the falling petals.
They dance quietly to the earth, while tiny white fairy light orbs flicker between the trees.
A moment of peace, colour, and light — a magical place I hope exists somewhere.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
