After a handful of lovely requests, today I finally painted a little woodland moment that feels straight out of a classic Christmas card…
Deep in the forest, where the winter sun glows soft and golden through the trees, a tiny fawn is curled into the snow. Half-hidden beneath a shelter of branches, she rests quietly, watching the world with those wide, wondering eyes that only baby deer seem to have.
Festive red berries hang nearby like nature’s own decorations, adding cheerful pops of colour against the crisp snow. The whole scene feels peaceful, gentle — the kind of magic that only happens when the forest holds its breath for winter.
She’s timid, delicate, and utterly adorable… a little reminder that sometimes the softest moments are the ones that stay with us the longest.
