Sometimes the best ideas appear by pure accident…
Earlier this week, while teaching a live class, my fingers slipped and I typed fox instead of hare. And just like that - today’s magical mini was born.
So instead of a moon-gazing hare, we have something new wandering into the world…
A moon-gazing fox, quietly tucked into a snowy clearing as if we’ve stumbled upon a secret moment meant for no one but the night sky.
Cool winter blues swirl through the trees, soft flurries settle on the forest floor, and a great full moon hangs heavy and golden overhead - its warm light reflected across the snow like a glowing path. And there, sitting perfectly still, is our lone little fox… gazing up in wonder, as though listening for a story only the moon can tell.
A happy accident turned into a scene of quiet magic - my favourite kind.

All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
