Day 289 of 365

£27.50

Daily Art Challenge - Day 289 of 365 - 14th Dec 2025

After cutting down our tree yesterday and getting ready to decorate it today, it felt impossible not to return to trees once again. They seem to be quietly weaving their way through this season — both in my home and in Faefern Forest.

Today’s mini shows a small clearing deep in the woods. A snow-covered pine tree stands watch in the background, while on the forest floor sits a joyful pile of wrapped presents. Bright papers, shiny ribbons, parcels of every shape and size — all waiting patiently to be opened.

I like to imagine these gifts weren’t placed here by chance. Perhaps the Mushwood folk have gathered them for a winter celebration, or maybe the forest itself has left offerings for those who care for it. Either way, there’s a sense of anticipation in the air… that quiet magic just before the celebrations begin.

Perfect gift for any occasion .

All items are made in Scotland, UK

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.

Thank you so much for your interest in my art, I hope you love it as much as I love creating it.
