Daily Art Challenge - Day 294 of 365 - 19th Dec 2025
This is an idea that’s been quietly padding around in my head for a while, waiting for the right moment to curl up and come to life — and today felt like the day.
Nestled deep inside a soft red Christmas stocking, a sleepy little ginger kitten has found the cosiest spot imaginable. Wrapped in festive foliage and snuggled into the fluffy white cuff, she’s fast asleep, completely unaware of the magic of the season happening all around her.
I like to think she climbed in there all by herself, drawn by the warmth and the scent of pine, and now she’s claimed it as her own. Let’s just hope Santa tiptoes past and doesn’t wake her — some dreams are far too sweet to interrupt.
