Daily Art Challenge - Day 297 of 365 - 22nd Dec 2025
Yesterday I introduced you to Holibel Sprigcap, and today it felt only right to paint her big sister… Rowanberry Sprigcap
Rowanberry is taller than her sisters, with a smaller, rounder cap that suits her calm, steady nature. Where Holibel carries winter cheer, Rowanberry carries wisdom. She is thoughtful, observant, and deeply rooted in the old magic of Faefern Forest.
She wears a red and white necklace, threaded with care and finished with a sprig of evergreen — a quiet symbol of her role as a keeper of seasonal balance. Rowanberry knows when to let things rest, when to let them grow, and when to gently guide the forest through change.
Often found wandering berry thickets or standing quietly among the trees, she listens more than she speaks. The younger Mushwood folk seek her out when they need advice, and even the Redcaps — Tibby, Merriweather, and Pipkin — respect her quiet strength.
Every forest needs its dreamers… but it also needs its guardians. Rowanberry is very much the latter.
