Day 299 of 365

£27.50

Daily Art Challenge - Day 299 of 365 - 24th Dec 2025

Tonight, the fire roars a little brighter and the room glows with that deep, comforting warmth only Christmas Eve can bring.

Three velvet red stockings hang from the mantle, their thick, fluffy white cuffs waiting patiently to be filled. Above them, a garland of festive foliage spills across the mantle, dotted with winter greenery and tiny hints of magic. On the floor, a small cluster of shiny baubles catches the firelight, and beside them stands a perfectly imperfect little Christmas tree, ready for the celebrations to begin.

But whose home is this?

I like to think it belongs to Pipkin… or perhaps Merriweather… or maybe Tibby. Or maybe it’s a shared gathering place, where the red caps of the Mushwood Gang have come together, boots by the door, laughter in the air, and hearts full of festive cheer. Somewhere nearby, mugs are being filled, stories are being told, and magic is quietly settling into the corners of the room.

On Christmas Eve in Faefern Forest, even the fire crackles with enchantment.

Perfect gift for any occasion .

All items are made in Scotland, UK

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.

Thank you so much for your interest in my art, I hope you love it as much as I love creating it.
