Daily Art Challenge - Day 305 of 365 - 30th Dec 2025
After a long, frosty walk through the woods today, I came home with cold fingers and a head full of trees — so of course I had to paint another hidden village tucked high amongst them, this time with a whisper of winter magic.
In soft, earthy greens, little cabin-style homes cling to the trees, perched on branches and nestled into trunks. Rope ladders dangle invitingly, leading the way up to these lofty dwellings where warm light spills from glowing windows and doors. A delicate dusting of frost sparkles across the scene, catching the light and making everything feel quietly enchanted.
It feels like the kind of place you’d only ever find by accident — if you wandered just a little off the path and listened carefully for the creak of rope ladders and the soft hum of forest magic.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
