The 1st of January 2026 — Happy New Year!
Only two months left of this daily art challenge before the next adventure begins, and I honestly can’t thank you all enough for being here and supporting me along the way. It truly means more than I can put into words.
It’s a family tradition for us to go on a New Year’s Day walk, and that’s exactly how we welcomed the year in. I took lots of photos along the way and later painted a scene exactly as it appeared on our morning walk. The quiet, fresh air, the soft winter light, and the open Scottish countryside came together so beautifully — it was impossible not to feel inspired.
Here’s to new beginnings, fresh air, and finding creativity in the simple moments.
