Daily Art Challenge - Day 162 of 365 - 9th August 2025
Today’s piece was inspired by one of my favourite beginner workshop paintings — those bright green forest floors dotted with red and white toadstools.
This time, I reimagined it as a magical woodland scene for my Elm & Bee Studios Learn with Lisa members.
A golden sunburst spills light into the centre of the forest, illuminating every leaf and mushroom cap.
At the edges, soft pink flowers bloom quietly, as if guarding the entrance to this hidden world.
It feels warm, welcoming, and just a little enchanted…
the kind of place where you might catch the faintest glimpse of wings between the trees.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
