Daily Art Challenge - Day 163 of 365 - 10th August 2025
Today’s inspiration came from another lovely follower request — carnations.
Soft pinks and deep reds bloom across the canvas, their ruffled petals swaying gently against a background of pale greens.
Above them, three glowing fairy orbs drift and dance, as if curious about these new blossoms in their garden.
I’ve never painted carnations before… so this one felt like both a challenge and a little adventure.
I hope I’ve done them justice.

All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
