Day 166 of 365
Daily Art Challenge - Day 166 of 365 - 13th August 2025
The countdown is on — we’re so close to halfway!
Here in Scotland, the weather surprised us with a rare, blazing-hot summer’s day.
My daughter un-covered her little pool in the garden, and the cool blue water shimmered behind our plum tree, heavy with almost-ripe fruit.
It was too perfect a scene not to capture — sunshine, laughter, and that deep summer stillness that makes you want to pause and drink it all in.
Tomorrow, I’ll be back to your wonderful suggestions… but for today, I painted this little slice of our last day of the school holidays.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
Thank you so much for your interest in my art, I hope you love it as much as I love creating it.
