Daily Art Challenge - Day 167 of 365 - 14th August 2025
Schools are back, my head was all over the place today — and this painting definitely went through a long “ugly phase” before it finally came together.
An orange sky blazes above a Scottish loch, the sun bursting bright and reflecting in streaks across deep blue waters. In the foreground, a wild meadow sways with tall grasses, and a single proud tree stands watch.
But look closer — nine tiny fairies flit between the grasses, their wings catching the last light of day. They dance on the meadow, skip across the water’s edge, and vanish into the fading glow… leaving just enough magic behind to make you wonder if you really saw them.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
