Today’s piece comes from a beautiful follower request — to paint more rainbows, in memory of her mum. “Look for me in Rainbows.”
So I imagined a Scottish hillside bathed in soft light, with rolling green slopes and scattered trees. A flower meadow sways in the foreground, each petal catching the glow of a magical sky.
At the heart of it all — a brilliant rainbow arcs across the scene, colours blazing as if painted by the hand of the heavens. Tiny fairies drift near its base, their wings shimmering in the same hues, carrying whispers of love on the breeze.
It’s a reminder that sometimes, magic really is a sign from someone we miss.
