Daily Art Challenge - Day 169 of 365 - 16th August 2025
Today’s piece was inspired by a lovely YouTube subscriber who asked me to paint some mountains. So, I channeled my inner Bob Ross and hoped for some happy little accidents… and I think the fairies must have helped too.
A soft mountain range rises in the distance, with a shimmering lake nestled below. Rolling hills and clusters of pines fill the foreground, where one tall Scots Pine stands alone — quiet but strong.
And, because I can never resist adding a touch of Elm & Bee magic, three tiny fairies play among the fields, while sunlight pours down from the corner of the sky, bathing everything in golden light.
A little bit Bob Ross, a little bit fairyland — and a reminder that sometimes the best art happens when we let go and see what unfolds.
