Daily Art Challenge - Day 170 of 365 - 17th August 2025
Today’s inspiration came from a photo I snapped on a family walk—a tree so old and twisted it seemed to defy gravity, leaning right out over the river. In the distance, a sparkling white waterfall tumbled down into the flow, catching the light.
The tree itself felt far too magical to leave untouched… so I added a tiny fairy house nestled into its trunk, complete with a bright red door and glowing golden windows. Fairies dart and fly between the branches, across the river, and toward the waterfall’s edge—turning the whole scene into a lively playground of light and movement.
This one feels like stepping into a hidden storybook world, discovered in plain sight on an ordinary walk.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
