Daily Art Challenge - Day 171 of 365 - 18th August 2025
Today I felt the pull back to one of my favourite styles—textured floral canvases. It’s been weeks since I last painted one, and with the garden full of inspiration, the timing felt perfect.
Right now, my Japanese anemones are in full bloom—tall, elegant, and glowing with the softest pink petals. They’re dancing in the summer breeze, but already starting to let their petals drift away… so today was the day to capture them on canvas.
I love how this one feels both delicate and strong—just like the flowers themselves.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
