Daily Art Challenge - Day 172 of 365 - 19th August 2025
Today’s piece was all about saying “yes” to new challenges and combining ideas. Two lovely subscribers gave me requests—one for a house in a flower meadow, the other for a unicorn. I’ve never painted a horse (let alone a unicorn!) before… so this was a real adventure.
The result? A unicorn standing gracefully in the middle of a wildflower meadow, blooms stretching out toward rolling hills that rise into snow-capped mountains. Above it all, a bright blue sky opens with a magical sunburst.
A little whimsy, a little bravery—and a whole lot of magic.

All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
