Daily Art Challenge - Day 173 of 365 - 20th August 2025
Today’s inspiration came from a lovely subscriber request: a magical enchanted tree with a pink door and decorations hanging from its branches.
Honestly… right up my street! I couldn’t wait to bring this one to life.
I painted a tall, twisted old trunk at the heart of the canvas, its bark weathered but full of character. From its branches hang strings of glowing fairy lights, casting a soft shimmer across the scene. At its base, a little pink wooden door and glowing windows hint at a cosy home tucked inside.
To add that extra touch of magic, I placed three glowing fairy orbs drifting nearby — little guardians of the tree. Behind it all, a misty blue forest stretches into the distance, making the enchanted tree the true star of the scene.
This one felt like it came straight out of a storybook
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
