Daily Art Challenge - Day 177 of 365 - 24th August 2025
Another request in the woodland animal series today — this time, a deer.
I went digging through my phone and found a photo I’d taken back in 2022, one I’d almost forgotten about… and it turned out to be pure magic. In the picture, a deer stood with its back to me, but its head turned just enough to look straight into the camera — calm, curious, and a little bit majestic.
I brought that moment to life on canvas: the deer in the centre of a perfect woodland clearing, surrounded by a dark circle of green leaves. The floor glowed with soft, bright grass, and in the foreground, warm brown meadow grasses rose tall — like nature itself protecting this hidden, magical space.
This one feels like stepping quietly into a secret world, just for a moment.
