Today’s painting was inspired by a beautiful flower photo sent to me by a lovely follower, Roz—a stunning broad-leaved anemone in rich pink bloom.
On this rainy Scottish day, I used her photo to imagine a magical, sun-drenched flower meadow, bursting with delicate pink anemones glowing in the light.
It felt like a little window into summer—a gentle escape from the grey, and a joyful reminder of the beauty waiting to bloom. Thank you, Roz, for the inspiration!
