Daily Art Challenge - Day 363 of 365 - 26th Feb 2026
Today, I started with a plan.
After not feeling completely happy with yesterday’s painting, I decided to slow down and be more intentional with today’s piece. I realised it had been months since I last painted one of the little houses or dwellings hidden within Faefern Forest - and it felt like the perfect time to return.
So today, a fairy cabin appeared.
Tucked deep within the whimsical woodland of Faefern, surrounded by wildflowers and dappled in soft, golden sunlight filtering through the trees. It feels quiet, peaceful… like a place filled with stories.
Perhaps it’s the home of one of the Mushwoods. Or perhaps it belongs to someone we haven’t met yet.
That’s the magic of Faefern.
One of the most unexpected and beautiful gifts of this year-long daily art challenge has been discovering this world - and the creatures who live there.
What started as simple daily paintings slowly grew into something much bigger… a place I can return to, again and again.
And I know this is only the beginning.
