Day 29 of Spooktober
We’re almost at the end of Spooktober, and I’ll admit — I’m starting to run out of spooky ideas! So today, I went back to my roots and one of my favourite things to paint: a fantasy forest. But not just any forest… a spooky one. A reallyspooky one.
This scene is filled with eerie contrasts — a blood-red sky with fiery orange tints glows above a cool blue-green forestbelow. A red path (or maybe it’s a river?) winds through the trees toward a clearing beneath a huge, oversized crescent moon. The branches twist and shimmer with an unearthly red light, while the grasses gleam with an eerie green glow.
I love how the orange and blue, the red and green, clash and balance each other — creating something bold, strange, and utterly magical.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
