November Beginnings
The first day of November always feels like a bridge between worlds - where autumn and winter meet for a fleeting moment of quiet magic.
Today’s mini painting captures that in-between season: a snowy mountain landscape, with a winding stream leading toward the base of the mountains. Along the banks, trees stand tall in their full autumn glory, their golden leaves glowing in the hazy light. The ground is scattered with fallen leaves - the last whispers of autumn before winter settles in.
And because I can’t resist a little whimsy, hidden within each tree are tiny fairy homes, their windows softly glowing. Tiny staircases wind up the trunks, and if you look closely, you might even spot a few fairies fluttering nearby.
A peaceful start to November - a reminder that even as the seasons shift, there’s always magic to be found in the change.
