Daily Art Challenge - Day 106 of 365 - 14th June 2025
After a joyful (and very muddy!) morning supporting my daughter in her first 5K kids’ fun run, I felt drawn to a photo I took a few days ago—a grand old oak tree whose twisting branches seem to defy gravity.
It felt truly magical, so today’s painting brings that enchantment to life. Hidden within the gnarled trunk are five tiny fairy houses, each with winding stairways leading to their doors. A flock of fairies dances at the roots, fluttering through the grass and filling the scene with wonder.
A reminder that even the oldest trees hold secrets waiting to be imagined.
