Today’s magical inspiration comes from a scene shared by the brilliant FGAuthor, taken from her fantasy novel.
“The city of Calburgh floats on the water. Surrounded by sapphire seas lapping gently at their shores, each island is connected to another, like a web over the water. Vast towers of vibrant corals breach the surface, leading the way to the rest of the city hidden below the water line.”
For today’s piece, I imagined this floating city bathed in dreamy light—golden orbs drifting across the scene like enchanted beacons. In the foreground, pink corals bloom above the waterline, framing the magical cityscape beyond.
I loved creating this one—it feels like a peaceful underwater dream with just a touch of mystery.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
