Daily Art Challenge - Day 114 of 365 - 22nd June 2025
After a busy weekend and with an event to attend today, I kept things simple and spontaneous with a quick speed painting.
This piece was inspired by the delicate water forget-me-nots blooming in a wild patch of our garden. I painted them in a loose, flowing style, with a soft-focus background to let the gentle purply-blues of the flowers shine. Five playful fairies dance around them, adding a sprinkle of magic to this fleeting moment.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
