Today’s painting is a study in simplicity—wild hemlock, quietly elegant in its natural setting. I painted it against a lush, layered background of green grasses, trying to capture every possible shade of green.
The tiny white flowers, delicate and lace-like, sit atop starburst stems, reaching gently towards the light.
Sometimes, the quietest subjects speak the loudest.
