Daily Art Challenge - Day 119 of 365 - 27th June 2025
This morning, I wandered out into the garden and noticed our homegrown raspberries—ripe, red, and glowing against their bed of green leaves.
That moment of colour and calm sparked today’s painting.
In my mind, those raspberries weren’t just fruit—they were tiny fairy perches.
So that’s what I painted: A cluster of juicy raspberries, surrounded by the soft presence of pale pink fairies—one sitting gently, one standing with wings unfurled, and one caught mid-flight.
They’re almost translucent, glowing just slightly like the fireflies and golden orbs that dance around them.
Another step into the magical. Another step into trusting my imagination.
And another day of showing up, even when the idea feels a little whimsical or strange.
That’s where the magic lives.
