There’s something almost otherworldly about a forest in full summer glow—and today’s painting is all about that feeling.
A soft, luminous green fills the scene, with light filtering through the trees like quiet magic. In the foreground, a cluster of tall, proud purple foxgloves stands—delicate but bold, like little guardians of the forest path.
I couldn’t resist painting that contrast: cool shade and vivid bloom, mystery and colour.
I’ve always loved how foxgloves feel just a bit enchanted, as if fairies might have planted them themselves.
Have you ever come across a wild patch of them in the woods? It's like stumbling into a secret.
