Daily Art Challenge - Day 125 of 365 - 3rd July 2025
Today I had a lovely request to paint lilies or roses—so I thought, why not both? I’m always up for a little practice with flowers I find tricky, and it turned into the perfect opportunity to challenge myself.
On this mini canvas, I painted a soft glowing yellow light at the centre, giving everything a warm, dreamy atmosphere. Around it, silhouetted leaves frame the scene, and nestled within them are delicate clusters of pink roses and white lilies, gently overlapping and reaching towards the glow.
It felt peaceful to paint—quiet and graceful—and I’m quite pleased with how these two very different blooms came together.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
