Daily Art Challenge - Day 316 of 365 - 10th Jan 2026
It’s the weekend and it snowed, so I spent the morning up a hill enjoying that white, fluffy magic. With ballet plans tonight, I needed something quick and intuitive - so I turned, once again, to my oracle prompt cards.
Today’s prompts were: Soft & Misty, Bold Visible Brushstrokes, Warm Glowing Light Source, and A Secret Place.
The result is a very loose, atmospheric painting of a misty forest, where an almost invisible castle sits quietly in the distance. In the foreground, an icy river winds its way toward it, and hidden among the trees is a small cave entrance — only revealed by the warm golden glow spilling out from within. A quiet secret, waiting to be discovered.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
