Daily Art Challenge - Day 323 of 365 - 17th Jan 2026
Everything happened back to front today. A full family day before I even made it to my desk… and by the time I finally sat down, it was late and my energy was low. So I leaned into something simple and soothing.
I honestly can’t remember if I’ve painted something quite like this before — a deep, dark background slowly built up with layers and layers of lush green foliage, finished with a final sprinkle of cheerful white daisies. Their sunny yellow-orange centres feel like little pockets of joy glowing against the green.
Nothing complicated, no big plan — just paint, colour, and the perfect quiet ending to a really lovely day.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
