Daily Art Challenge - Day 331 of 365 - 25th Jan 2026
It’s Sunday again, and with only five weeks of the challenge left, I could really feel that slow, quiet Sunday energy. To calm my busy brain, I chose to paint something simple and familiar - a quick landscape study using contrasting blues and oranges.
I used this piece to practise a softer sky, the reflection of a setting sun on water, and painting water lilies - something I realised I haven’t done in quite a while. It was fast, focused, and surprisingly satisfying, and I really love how it turned out.
Sometimes you just need to do the thing that feels easy on your mind - giving yourself a little creative rest while still moving forward.
