Daily Art Challenge - Day 334 of 365 - 28th Jan 2026
After a conversation with a lovely subscriber about the stunning hazy purple sunsets the UK has been treated to recently, I just had to try and paint one. A bruised purple sky filled with blues, pinks, and violets reflects across still water. The dark horizon is lined with trees, while the warm glow of three tiny houses shimmers at the water’s edge. Tree-covered hills mirror softly below, and in the foreground a hanging branch, reeds, and bullrushes frame the scene - quiet, moody, and full of evening magic.
