Daily Art Challenge - Day 340 of 365 - 3rd Feb 2026
Experimenting again today - and am I completely happy with the result? Not really. But that’s the beauty of playing with paint. You learn what you like, what you don’t, and what you’d change next time.
I try to keep this challenge very sketchbook-like. Even though I’m painting one finished 7×7 cm canvas every day, I’m giving myself permission to explore, loosen up, and try new ideas without pressure. This piece might not be my strongest, but it isn’t without merit either - and recognising that feels important.
Today’s painting shows a small arched bridge crossing a bend in a stream. A pale pink path leads toward it, while a tree with lime-green leaves drapes over the path. Beyond the bridge, the land fades into mist, with just a hint of fairies drifting through the air.
Pieces like this remind me that not every painting has to be a favourite to be valuable. Some are simply stepping stones on the creative path.

Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
Thank you so much for your interest in my art, I hope you love it as much as I love creating it.
