Daily Art Challenge - Day 255 of 365 - 10th Nov 2025
This idea has been sitting quietly in my head for months - waiting for that first spark of winter magic to bring it to life.
Today felt like the perfect moment.
So here it is - the second of my Moon Gazing Hares, this time nestled in a snowy field beneath a dark blue, starry sky inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Swirling strokes and soft movement fill the sky, while a full golden moonglows warmly against the cool tones of winter.
The hare itself feels almost sacred - delicate Celtic patterns are hidden within its soft, silvery fur, giving it an ancient, mystical touch. It sits quietly, gazing up at the moon as if listening to something only it can hear.
This one feels special - peaceful, magical, and full of stillness.
Perfect gift for any occasion .
All items are made in Scotland, UK
Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display — a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
