Daily Art Challenge - Day 263 of 365 - 18th Nov 2025
Today’s piece is a soft, atmospheric one - a snowy winter forest painted in cool, icy blues with a beautifully abstract, textured background. The trees fade gently into the distance, creating that misty winter quiet I adore.
In the foreground stands the silhouette of a stag, dark and striking against the pale landscape. I kept him simple for this smaller piece, but I would love to revisit this on a much larger canvas - to really explore the details of his antlers, the texture of his coat, and the strength in his posture.
Sometimes the simplest elements are the most powerful.

Painted on a mini 7cm x 7cm stretched canvas, this piece comes with its own little wooden easel for easy display - a tiny treasure to brighten any corner.
